Verification Failed / Mismatch
Name, DOB or Aadhaar number differs between college record and Aadhaar database. Ask college registrar to correct it.
Common problems — quick fixes
Try between 6 AM and 8 AM or after 11 PM. Peak hours (10 AM–8 PM) overload the server. Clear browser cache: Chrome > Settings > Privacy > Clear Browsing Data. Try Incognito mode. Disable any VPN.
Most common cause: no mobile number linked to Aadhaar, or a different number is linked. Visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra to update. Also check: DND active, weak signal, SMS inbox full. OTPs expire in 10 minutes.
Go to your college registrar with Aadhaar card. Request correction of your record in the UPDESCO portal. Allow 24–72 hours for the change to reflect. Then retry eKYC.
Distribution happens in batches by college and district. Check device status weekly in Student Corner. Your college will announce the distribution event date through official notice board. Keep original Aadhaar and college ID ready.
